When quiet Cat Chant and his tempestuous sister are taken to a grand house where magic is the family business, nothing is as simple as it seems—especially across a tangle of parallel worlds. Whimsical, sly, and sparkling with enchantment, Charmed Life is classic Diana Wynne Jones mischief at its best.
